Coming Home
Hospiz is a cultural association from South Tyrol, building a programme of events, collaborations, and releases since 2018, which is driven by artistic conviction, not visibility.
The name comes from the Pilgerhospiz — the shelter monasteries kept open for pilgrims crossing the Alps. A place of arrival without any questions. That idea of hospitality and openness sits at the core of everything that Hospiz does.
Throughout years of activity, Hospiz has grown to take a role as one of the most prominent creative forces in the region of South Tyrol.
Home.
Hospiz is back at its home — Klösterle St. Florian. After a year away from the monastery, the return feels like a reason to go back to what this has always been about. Open doors. Unapologetic art selection. An up-to-date relation to the scene.
Coming Home is not about nostalgia, but about returning to the roots and asking what a home actually calls for. The monastery is ancient, layered, and specific — cold stone walls that have absorbed centuries of arrivals.
28 Artists.
One Monastery.
Regional artists who have been building something here persistently and international ones drawn by a programme that has never chased consensus. Two days and nights inside walls that have been receiving strangers for centuries.
The
Lineup.
Each artist was chosen for what they carry — creativity that translates their homes, backgrounds and experiences that feel lived-in and honest. Eclectic and free, the way it has always been, but with a sharpened sense of why.
St. Florian
A medieval monastery in Neumarkt, South Tyrol. Cold stone walls that have absorbed centuries of arrivals. Narrow corridors. Courtyards that hold sound and people in a way nothing else ever could.
The monastery is home for Hospiz — a place that gives shelter, hosts the curious, and protects what is fragile.
Safer
Space.
